Check Your Email

After purchase, you will receive two emails:

  • Order Receipt — Your payment confirmation from our store
  • License Delivery Email — From the Project Sarah Team containing your unique Product Key and secure download link
⏰ Important: The download link expires in 7 days. Your product key remains valid until activated.

Download the Installer

  1. Open the license delivery email on your Windows PC
  2. Click the secure download link
  3. Your browser will download the installer file (e.g., ProjectSarah_Setup.exe)

Run the Installer

  1. Locate the downloaded .exe file (usually in your Downloads folder)
  2. Double-click to run the installer
  3. Project Sarah uses Extended Validation (EV) Code Signing Certificates for security
  4. Follow the installation wizard:
    • Accept the license agreement
    • Choose your installation directory (or keep the default)
    • Click Install
  5. Wait for the installation to complete
  6. Click Finish to close the installer
💡 SmartScreen Warning: If Windows SmartScreen blocks the installer, click "More info" then "Run anyway" to proceed.

Launch Project Sarah

  1. Find Project Sarah in your Start Menu or Desktop shortcut
  2. Double-click to launch the application
  3. The Activation Dialog will appear on first launch

Enter Your Product Key

  1. Copy your product key from the license delivery email
  2. Paste it into the activation dialog (format: SARAH-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX)
  3. Click Enter to activate

Start Using Project Sarah

Once your key is verified, you'll be granted access to Project Sarah. The main interface will launch and you can begin!

Download the Installer

  1. Open the license delivery email on your Mac
  2. Click the secure download link
  3. Your browser will download the disk image file (e.g., ProjectSarah.dmg)

Install the Application

  1. Locate the downloaded .dmg file (usually in your Downloads folder)
  2. Double-click to mount the disk image
  3. A new Finder window will open showing the Project Sarah app icon and an Applications folder shortcut
  4. Drag the Project Sarah icon to the Applications folder to install
  5. Wait for the copy to complete
  6. Eject the disk image by right-clicking and selecting "Eject"

Launch Project Sarah

  1. Open Finder → Applications
  2. Locate Project Sarah and double-click to launch
  3. If macOS displays a security warning ("App is from an identified developer"):
    • Click Open to proceed, OR
    • Go to System Preferences → Security & Privacy → click "Open Anyway"
  4. The Activation Dialog will appear on first launch
💡 Gatekeeper Note: macOS may block the app on first launch. This is normal security behavior. Simply click "Open" to proceed.

Enter Your Product Key

  1. Copy your product key from the license delivery email
  2. Paste it into the activation dialog (format: SARAH-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX)
  3. Click Enter to activate

Start Using Project Sarah

Once your key is verified, you'll be granted access to Project Sarah. The main interface will launch and you can begin!

Ensure Project Sarah is Installed

If you haven't already installed Project Sarah:

  1. Click the secure download link in your email
  2. Follow the Windows Tier Installation steps above to install

If Project Sarah is already installed, skip to Step 4.

Launch Project Sarah

  1. Open Project Sarah from your Start Menu or Desktop shortcut
  2. If prompted, enter your main license key to activate (if not already activated)

Open Sarah Config

  1. Once in the main interface, click the Sarah Config button
  2. This opens the Game Configuration screen

Enable the Addon

  1. In Sarah Config, locate the addon option:
    • Enable Multi-Hand Support (for Multi-Hand Guidance)
    • Enable CSV Export on Exit (for Data Nerd)
    • Enable Ace Side Count (for Ace Side Count)
  2. Check the box to enable the addon
  3. You will be prompted to enter your Addon Key
  4. Paste your addon key from the delivery email
  5. Click Activate or Confirm
⚠️ Important: Addon activation happens in Sarah Config, not in Settings → Add-ons. Make sure you're in the correct location.

Start Using Your Addon

Once verified, your addon features will be unlocked. The addon will remain active for all future sessions.

Ensure Project Sarah is Installed

If you haven't already installed Project Sarah:

  1. Click the secure download link in your email
  2. Follow the macOS Tier Installation steps above to install

If Project Sarah is already installed, skip to Step 4.

Launch Project Sarah

  1. Open Finder → Applications
  2. Double-click Project Sarah to launch
  3. If prompted, enter your main license key to activate (if not already activated)

Open Sarah Config

  1. Once in the main interface, click the Sarah Config button
  2. This opens the Game Configuration screen

Enable the Addon

  1. In Sarah Config, locate the addon option:
    • Enable Multi-Hand Support (for Multi-Hand Guidance)
    • Enable CSV Export on Exit (for Data Nerd)
    • Enable Ace Side Count (for Ace Side Count)
  2. Check the box to enable the addon
  3. You will be prompted to enter your Addon Key
  4. Paste your addon key from the delivery email
  5. Click Activate or Confirm
⚠️ Important: Addon activation happens in Sarah Config, not in Settings → Add-ons. Make sure you're in the correct location.

Once verified, your addon features will be unlocked. The addon will remain active for all future sessions.

Troubleshooting

❌ "Invalid Product Key" Error

  • Ensure you're copying the complete key including all dashes (format: SARAH-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX)
  • Check for extra spaces before or after the key
  • Verify you're using the correct key for the edition you purchased

🔒 "Key Already Activated" Error

  • Each license key can only be used on one device
  • If you see this error, you may have already activated on another device
  • Contact support@projectsarah.io for assistance

⏰ Download Link Expired

  • If your download link has expired (after 7 days)
  • Contact support@projectsarah.io with your order number
  • We'll provide a fresh download link immediately

🍎 macOS Security Warning

  • If macOS blocks the app from opening
  • Go to System Preferences → Security & Privacy
  • Under the General tab, you'll see a message about Project Sarah
  • Click "Open Anyway"

🪟 Windows SmartScreen Warning

  • If Windows SmartScreen blocks the installer
  • Click "More info" on the warning dialog
  • Click "Run anyway" to proceed with installation
